Representative Elaine Beech was first elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in a special election held on November 3, 2009. She received a B.S. Degree in Pharmacy from Auburn University in 1983 and is a member of the Auburn Alumni Association. Representative Beech is also a member of the Alabama Pharmacy Association, National Rifle Association, National Wild Turkey Federation, Alabama Cattlemen's Association, and Leadership Washington.

Representative Beech is a widow with two children and is a member of the Chatom Baptist Church.
